River training of a small watercourse in the Morava River Basin
Filipi, Josef ; Duchan, David (referee) ; Uhmannová, Hana (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to evaluate possible solutions of the river Svratka silting by the historical development from the 70s to the present. Part of this thesis is devoted to assessing the state of the watercourse in the area of interest, the assessment of flow capacity and design parameters that were used for the initial treatment course. The outcome of this thesis is to identify the causes of riverbed silting, creation of a conceptual design modification of the streambed and measures to limit the rate of canal silting. Custom design is supported by the hydrotechnical calculations.
Flood protection of the municipality Březová nad Svitavou
Cetkovská, Lucie ; Vysloužilová, Lucie (referee) ; Uhmannová, Hana (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on the assessment of the stream and the proposal against flood risk in the location of town Březová nad Svitavou. The stream Svitava flows under administration of Povodí Moravy. s. p. The stream Svitava flowing through urban area, has a high potencial flood risk. The current situation of a section of the stream is assessed based on defined data and personal inspection. On the stream, there were provided the measurements by the method of HEM. Capacity of the stream along with the objects for the particular section were calculated in the software HEC-RAS. Based on the results, there have been designed the flood protection. The final design was verified by the calculation in the program HEC-RAS.
Follow-up measures for the water management solution of the Těšetice water reservoir
Žiaček, Tomáš ; Fína, David (referee) ; Starý, Miloš (advisor)
The main aim of the thesis was the liquefaction of Únanovka streamflow under the Těšetice dam with the focus on suitable flood protection of the villages of Těšetice, Bantice and Práče.The thesis evaluates the existing condition of the Únanovka streamflow in the river mileage 1.6593 – 6.4103. Calculation of the streamflow capacity was carried out per 1D mathematical model in the HEC-RAS programme for the selected N-year flow from the ČHMÚ hydrological study. Final value of the improved drainage from the dam was determined together with the possible value of water collection. Within the thesis the hydro-ecological monitoring of the watercourse was carried out (HEM analysis 2014).
Proposal of flood protection on the river in the basin of the Morava
Salingerová, Lucie ; Smelík, Lukáš (referee) ; Uhmannová, Hana (advisor)
The main aim of the thesis is an appraisal of the stream Oslava which belongs to the Náměšť nad Oslavou region with the focus on flood control of the town. The thesis asseses current state of the stream with respect to the state of riverbed, bulwark of the stream and evaluation of the capacity of the stream channel. Calculation water surface profiles have been made by usage of the 1D mathematical model HEC-RAS for selected N-year flows. The capacity of flows and objects in the given period has been detected. There is also a map of the water runoffs included and possible solutions of how to protect the area surrounding the stream are proposed. The thesis was complemented with hydroecological monitoring of the stream channel - the HEM analysis 2014.
Assessment of the water flow in the Morava river basin
Cetkovská, Lucie ; Juráňová, Barbora (referee) ; Uhmannová, Hana (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is focused on the assessment of a part of the stream Romže which is managed by the Povodí Moravy, s. p. The Romže is located in the urban area of the village Držovice. There is a defined area with a potentially significant flood risk. The description of the current condition of the river part is based on the inspection and background materials. The calculations for assessment of channel capacity and the capacity of objects in the location were made by the 1D program HEC-RAS. The individual cross-sections and the N-year flow of the river were put in the program. Based on these results, near-natural flood protection measures for designed channel capacity of the river have been designed.

Assessment of the River Regulation Jihlavka in Jihlava
Salingerová, Lucie ; Šlezingr, Miloslav (referee) ; Uhmannová, Hana (advisor)
The aim of my bachelor´s thesis is the assessment of the Jihlavka River within the boundaries in the town of Jihlava after 11 years, since a renovation flow. The bachelor´s thesis evaluates the current state of the watercourse Jihlavka in the administrative territory of the town of Jihlava from the perspective of the assessment of fortifications of the streambed and the existing capacity of the watercourse. Calculation water surface profiles have been made by usage of the 1D mathematical model HEC-RAS for selected N-year flows. The capacity of flows and objects in the given period has been detected. A part of my thesis is a draft of measures to improve the current state of the channel as well as assessing opportunities to increase flood protection of the adjacent territory.
